One calm email a month to keep your family safer online

A short checklist, one scam warning sign to share, and our newest plain-language guides. Free. No spam. Unsubscribe anytime.

What is in each issue

Every issue follows the same simple format, so you can read it in about five minutes and know exactly what to do next.

  • The 15-minute checklist. A handful of small settings and habits you can finish over a cup of coffee, such as turning on automatic updates or checking an account’s recovery phone number.
  • Scam warning sign of the month. One red flag explained in plain language, with a short line you can forward to a parent, grandparent, or teenager.
  • One term, explained. A security or privacy word you keep hearing in the news, translated into everyday English.
  • New and updated guides. Links to the latest articles on this site, including Privacy Policies Watch reviews when a company changes its policy.
  • One family conversation. A simple question to talk through at home, so everyone knows what to do when something looks wrong.

Who it is for

The newsletter is written for busy parents, grandparents, and anyone who ends up being the family’s tech helper. You do not need any technical background. We skip the jargon, avoid scare tactics, and focus on steps that make a real difference.

How often will you email me?
Once a month. We do not send daily alerts or sales emails.

Does it cost anything?
No. The newsletter is free, and every guide on the site stays free to read without signing up.

What do you do with my email address?
We use it only to send the newsletter. We do not sell it or share it for marketing. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I unsubscribe?
Every issue has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also ask us to remove you through the contact page or the opt-out preferences page.

Will you ever ask for passwords or payment?
